Drip campaigns allow you to send a sequence of LinkedIn direct messages to your existing network, including your 1st and 2nd+ connections, as well as accounts you have an open conversation with.
Unlike Outreach campaigns, Drip campaigns can target the same leads multiple times, with one restriction - a lead can only be in one drip campaign at a time.
How to create a lead search campaign
Step 1: Select the campaign type and settings
Go to your Campaigns page and click the "Create Campaign" button to open the campaign builder popup. Choose an Inbound campaign to target 1st connections. Select "Lead Search Campaign".
Configure settings:
Next, select the LinkedIn account that will run the campaign, which will also let you target their leads. Lead search campaigns have one primary action - message, and they always allow you to target leads from the account running the campaign.
Step 2: Targeting
Choose your campaign audience by using filters and keywords on your leads. You have access to all the filters from your Leads page, including Favorites and Labels. š·ļø If you want to target everyone, simply click next without setting any filters or keywords.
Step 3: Build your campaign Flow
In this step, you can configure the direct message sequence for this campaign. Set up a single message to send a one-off broadcast, or add multiple follow-up messages for a more engaging approach.
When sending multiple messages, you can add a delay between them.
There is no maximum number of messages, but we advise using no more than 2-3 to avoid spammy behavior.
All sequences stop as soon as you receive any response from that LinkedIn user.
This is done to prevent sending messages out of context.
Step 3.5: Additional Campaign Features
These extra steps improve campaign performance or allow you to gather more data. They are available on all campaign types.
Custom Variables
Our Custom Variables can be used to add a short AI-generated compliment, or fine-tune tone and style. In any case, Custom Variables put the power in your hands.
You can access the Custom Variables when creating new or editing existing templates.
In the above example, we have added two custom variables, shown in blue: "First name" and "Company".
Donāt forget to preview your messages and see how AI and Translate will perform for your campaign. š
Auto Translate
Auto-Translate lets you target users globally with each campaign. Aimfox can detect the targetās preferred LinkedIn account language and automatically translate your campaign for maximum effectiveness.
Important: Messages can only be translated from English to other languages.
Split testing your Flows
If you're unsure which approach would work best for your audience, Aimfox allows you to create two separate campaign flows to send different messages to your recipients. After your campaign is created, you can track stats for each flow and compare them to see which performs better.
Step 4: Campaign scheduling
In this campaign setup phase, users can specify the days and times when their campaign will be active. Moreover, users can send messages within a designated timezone or schedule them to be sent within the specified timeframe in the recipient's timezone by selecting the āTargetās Timezoneā option.
Step 5: Finalize your campaign
Once you've completed all the steps and configured everything, you'll be presented with a preview screen where you can review all the details of the campaign you've created before launching it.
You can start the campaign immediately, schedule the campaign or save it as a draft to launch later.
Drip Campaign Restrictions:
A lead can only be in one lead search campaign at one time. You must wait for that campaign to complete before you can enroll them in another one.
Drip campaigns allow you to target the same audience multiple times. If you send a broadcast in January, there is no reason you cannot contact the same people again in March.
Drip campaigns can only target leads from accounts running the campaign.
