Sales Navigator campaigns allow you to create an Aimfox campaign on a set of targets defined by a Sales Navigator Leads search.
β
This campaign type is available to users with at least one Sales Navigator licence, and has a few powerful advantages compared to a standard search campaign:
π Find up 2500 targets from your Sales Navigator Lead search
πͺ Choose a separate Search and Worker account. This lets you find targets with a Sales Navigator profile, but send connection requests and messages with a different account.
π Export your Sales Navigator targets in the Audience screen, without need for third party tools.
Note: While a Sales Navigator subscription is required to create the campaign and find targets, you do not need to have it active to run the campaign post-creation.
How to create a Sales Navigator Campaign
Sales Navigator campaigns support outbound connection flows, letting you automate sending Connection Requests, with optional Notes, as well as Follow-up message sequences. InMail optimization is also supported, which sends a free InMail to Open Profiles. π€
Step 1: Select the Campaign Type and Settings
Go to your Campaigns page and click the "New Campaign" button to open the campaign builder popup - Select Sales Navigator campaign.
Configure Settings:
Choose your Outreach type, Search Account, Worker Account, and the number of targets you want to engage with.
π Outreach type: This defines the primary action your campaign will take.
Connect (Recommended) enables the full campaign flow, including connection requests, follow-up sequences, and free InMails.
InMail only send InMails to open profiles. Choosing this option will create an InMail only campaign, which will not send any connection requests and will not use all your targets.
π Search account: This account will be finding targets through Sales Navigator and needs to be connected to Aimfox and have an active Seat and Sales Navigator subscription.
π· Worker account: This account will be doing all the actions in the campaign flow, including sending connection requests, messages and InMails. The account needs an active seat, and must be connected
π― Targets: Specify the maximum number of targets for your campaign. Aimfox supports up to 2500 targets per Sales Navigator campaign.
Step 2: Set your Targeting
Tell Aimfox who you want to target by pasting your Sales Navigator Leads search URL in the search field. Aimfox will automatically pull all the targets from your URL.
Note: At this time, Aimfox only supports Sales Navigator leads search, but more features will be introduced over time, including Lead Lists.
Step 2.5: Review your Audience
After your targeting is confirmed, Aimfox will start getting detailed data about your targets from LinkedIn. This process takes some time, but you can proceed once the first batch of targets is prepared.
β
In the Audience screen, you can additionally filter out your targets based on certain Aimfox-only filters, which become available only after detailed data is acquired for all target accounts.
At this step, you can also Export your targets π
β
Step 3: Create your campaign Flow:
Your campaign flow decides which actions Aimfox will automate in this campaign. Depending on the campaign type, you will not be able to use every flow, or action. For example, you cannot send a direct message to someone you are not connected with.
Sales Navigator campaigns support either a Connection flow or an InMail flow. This is configured when creating your campaign.
Connection Flows have one primary action - connection Requests, which can be improved with a follow-up message sequence and optimized with Free InMails. Connection Flows support A/B tests.
InMail Flows only send free InMails. InMail Flows do not support A/B tests.
π¨ Important note about InMails: All flows can send free InMails to open accounts. However, connection flows use this as a secodary feature to save connection requests by sending InMails to eligible targets, while InMail flows only send InMails, and ignore any accounts which cannot receive a free InMail.
Connection Flow Actions:
Connection flows follow a predefined structure designed to increase your response and acceptance rates when sending connection requests.
View profile
If profile is open - Send Free InMail and skip the other steps (optional)
Send Connection Request
React to a random Post (optional)
If accepted, send a follow up message sequence (optional)
If there is no response to the sequence, Endorse a random skill (optional)
If not accepted after a set amount of time, withdraw the connection request
Let's take a more detailed look at every action Aimfox will automate in the connection flow.
Connection Requests:
Sending a connection request is the most common way of growing your LinkedIn network. Aimfox can send up to 200 connection requests each week, with an optional Note.
π¨ Important: Since Free LinkedIn accounts are limited to only 5 Connection Notes per month, adding a Note to your Campaign is only available for users with a LinkedIn Premium subscription.
Follow-up messages
Once your target accepts a connection request, you can follow up with a sequence of direct messages, allowing you to immediately engage your new Lead and start a conversation.
The sequence can include as many messages as you want, but we advise using no more than 2-3 to avoid spammy behavior and stay professional. You can delay every message, even the first one, allowing for full customization.
π¨ Important: Message sequences stop as soon you receive any response from that LinkedIn user. This is done to ensure you never send messages out of context.
Step 3.5: Additional Campaign Features
These extra steps improve campaign performance or allow you to gather more data. They are available on all campaign types.
AI Enhance
Our AI Enhance feature allows you to enrich your Notes, Message Requests, and Follow-Up Messages with AI to add variety to your campaigns. We use OpenAI's o3βmini with data from both your account and the target profile to enrich your messages. AI Enhance will help you achieve the following:
Make your templates more professional
Normalize longer Variables like Occupations
Add variety to your campaign messages and avoid triggering any spam filters
Normal Template
vs AI Enhanced Template
Donβt forget to preview your messages and see how AI and Translate will look for your campaign. π
Auto Translate
The system can detect each targetβs preferred LinkedIn account language and automatically translate your campaign messages. This lets you easily target global audiences for maximum engagement.
Split testing your Flows
If you're unsure which approach would work best for your audience, you can create two separate Flows and test which one of them will work better.
After your campaign is created, you will be able to monitor which Flow is producing better results, and use that information to improve other campaigns.
Free InMails
Most campaign types can be optimized by sending Free InMails to users with open profiles, instead of the campaingn's primary action. This lets you save your weekly connection or message requests by replacing some of them with InMails.
β
Aimfox will never use your paid InMails, and as with previous steps, AI optimization and Translation are available.
Step 4: Campaign scheduling
Campaign messages are only sent within certain times, according to a user-defined schedule. The schedule allows you to configure your active days, working hours, and timezone.
The timezone selector can either use a specific timezone, or automatically detect the recipient's timezone, and follow the schedule according to their time - this option is enabled by selecting "Target's Timezone".
Step 5: Finalize the campaign
Once you've completed all the steps and configured everything, you'll be presented with a preview screen to review all of your campaign details before launching it.
Once you're satisfied with your campaign, you have 3 options:
Start it immediately
Leave it for later
Schedule it to start at a future date
Make sure to regularly check your campaign. You can still make changes even after it's live, just make sure to Pause it to enable edit mode.
