Getting Started
Connect your Aimfox workspace to Slack
Connecting your Aimfox workspace to Slack allows Aimfox to send you event notifications in real time. This action does not automatically enable Aimfox notifications in Slack. To receive notifications, please follow the instructions for creating event subscriptions.
How to connect your Aimfox workspace to Slack
Navigate to the Integrations tab in the settings of the workspace you wish to connect.
Find the Slack integration and click on it.
Select the Slack workspace you wish to connect with in the upper right corner.
Select the Slack channel that Aimfox should post to.
Click Allow, and if everything goes smoothly, you’ll receive a welcome message in the Slack channel you selected in the previous step.
How to receive real-time notifications
After you have installed the Aimfox application for Slack, you will receive a welcome message.
Click the "Create Subscription" button in the welcome message you received. A Slack modal with an events dropdown will then appear. Another option for creating a subscription is to use the /subscribe slash command.
Once you've selected the events you wish to receive notifications for, press the submit button.
If everything goes well, a success modal will appear!
If an error modal appears, please try again later or contact us anytime for help here: https://aimfox.com/contact.
To change your selected events, use the /listevents command in Slack to view your current subscriptions, then click on the Edit button to reselect the events you wish to receive notifications for.
To unsubscribe to all events at once, use the /unsubscribe command.
