Interaction Limits for LinkedIn Accounts in Aimfox

How to manage your Interactions, warmup, and stay within LinkedIn's guidelines while using Aimfox

Written by Bozidar Nikolic

When you connect a LinkedIn account to Aimfox, you can automate a variety of actions - from sending connection requests to liking posts - and manage how many interactions your account performs each week.

Aimfox helps you stay within safe LinkedIn limits and gradually ramp up activity to protect your account’s health.

What actions Aimfox automates

Aimfox can automate several LinkedIn activities to make your outreach faster and more consistent:

  • Connection requests

  • InMails (messages to users you’re not connected with)

  • Messages (to 1st-degree connections)

  • Message requests (to LinkedIn group members or event attendees)

  • Liking posts

  • Endorsing skills

  • Profile searches

These actions are all part of LinkedIn’s ecosystem, and each one contributes to your overall account activity level. Managing them properly helps your account stay compliant and effective.

LinkedIn activity limits

LinkedIn has both weekly and monthly limits for many actions. While exact numbers depend on account age, reputation, and plan type (e.g., free vs. Sales Navigator), the most commonly observed limits are:

  • Connection requests: Around 100 per week for standard accounts, sometimes up to 200 for highly trusted or premium accounts

  • Messages to 1st-degree connections: No official limit, but best practice is to stay below 100–150 per day

  • InMails: Determined by your plan - Sales Navigator typically includes 50 credits per month (unused credits can roll over)

  • Message requests: Usually safe up to 15–20 per day when contacting group members or event attendees

  • Profile searches and views: No fixed limit, but large spikes in volume can raise flags

  • Likes and endorsements: Keep them natural; frequent bulk actions can trigger LinkedIn’s safety filters

LinkedIn doesn’t publicly share exact limits, and they can change based on your activity patterns, trust level, and account type.

How Aimfox manages limits

Aimfox lets you configure weekly interaction limits for the actions most directly tied to outreach volume. You can set these individually for each connected account:

  • Connection Requests: 10–200 per week

  • Message Requests: 10–200 per week

  • InMails: 10–200 per week

Aimfox automatically calculates safe daily interaction numbers based on:

  • Your configured weekly limit

  • Your campaign schedules and workflows

  • Your account’s warmup status

This means Aimfox dynamically adjusts daily actions so your account never exceeds the weekly cap.

About warmup

Warmup gradually increases an account’s activity to help LinkedIn recognize it as trustworthy.

When you enable warmup, Aimfox starts your activity at a lower daily rate and ramps it up over time until your full weekly limit is reached.

You can choose how fast this ramp-up happens:

  • Fast (7 days): Reaches full limit in about a week

  • Medium (14 days): Balanced, moderate increase

  • Slow (30 days): Safest option for new or inactive accounts

You can also set a custom starting goal. For example, if your 30-day warmup target is 100 requests per week, but you want to start with 50, simply adjust the current warmup goal. Aimfox will handle the gradual ramp-up automatically.

Managing your warmup and interaction settings

You can control all warmup and limit settings from the Accounts tab in Aimfox:

  1. Go to Accounts

  2. Select the LinkedIn account you’d like to manage — this opens the settings drawer

  3. Scroll to Interaction limits

Here, you can:

  • Toggle Warmup ON or OFF

  • Select your Warmup speed (Fast, Medium, or Slow)

  • Adjust weekly limits for Connection Requests, Message Requests, and InMails

Each individual limit must be equal to or lower than your account’s configured maximum. Aimfox automatically keeps all campaigns and schedules in sync with these limits.

Best practices for safe outreach

  • Always enable Warmup when connecting a new or reactivated LinkedIn account

  • Choose Slow (30 days) for accounts that haven’t been active recently

  • Keep weekly limits moderate, especially in the first few weeks

  • Spread activity evenly throughout the week instead of sending everything at once

  • Monitor connection acceptance rates and message replies — these influence your account’s trust score

  • Use supportive actions (likes, endorsements, profile views) to make your outreach appear natural

Summary

Managing your LinkedIn outreach safely is key to long-term success. Aimfox’s warmup process and interaction limit settings are designed to help you:

  • Stay within LinkedIn’s acceptable activity range

  • Prevent account restrictions

  • Maintain consistent, authentic engagement

With the right setup, your LinkedIn automation will feel natural - to both LinkedIn and your prospects.
