Aimfox offers support for voice messages and file attachments in campaign sequences and InMails.
This allows you to make your outreach more personal and engaging by leveraging a more customized approach to campaigns.
Voice messages and attachments follow the same behavior and restrictions as they do on LinkedIn. Voice messages can be sent instead of a regular message, while attachments can be included with a Direct Message or an InMail.
You can add them directly while building a campaign or prepare them in advance on the Templates page.
Where Voice Messages and Attachments Can Be Used
Voice messages can be used instead of any message in an Inbound (1st connections) campaign, or in a follow-up sequence in an Outbound (2nd+ connections) campaign.
Attachments can be added to any campaign message or InMail. They cannot be included in a Connection note.
How Voice Messages Work
Voice messages let you to replace a LinkedIn direct message with an audio recording.
On LinkedIn, recording a voice messages is only available in the mobile app. Aimfox allows you to record voice messages on the dashboard, in any browser. However, native LinkedIn limits still apply.
Voice messages are sent in place of a text message
Voice messages can be up to 1 minute long (60 seconds)
Voice messages cannot be sent alongside attachments
Because of this, voice messages replace the text message in that step rather than being sent together with one.
You can add voice messages in two ways:
Directly inside a campaign step
Inside a template that is later used in a campaign
Creating a template allows teams to reuse your voice messages across multiple campaigns.
How Attachments Work
Attachments let you send files alongside a LinkedIn message or InMail.
You can attach documents, presentations, images, videos, and other supported file types. The files are delivered to prospects exactly as they would be when sent directly through LinkedIn.
Attachments can be added in two places:
When creating or editing a campaign message step
When creating or editing a template
Templates make it easy to prepare messages with attachments ahead of time and reuse them whenever needed.
Attachments technical limitations
Aimfox follows LinkedIn compatible limits for attachments.
Maximum file size per attachment: 10 MB
Maximum number of attachments per message: 6 files
Supported file types:
DOC, DOCX, CSV, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, PDF, TXT, JPEG, JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG, MP4
Some file types are not supported on but can still be sent via Aimfox. These include:
SVG, ZIP
If a file exceeds the allowed size or format, the upload will fail and you will need to replace it.
Best Practices for Using Voice Messages and Attachments
Voice messages are great when you want to make outreach feel more personal. Short and natural recordings usually perform best.
Attachments work best when they add clear value to the conversation. Common examples include:
• Case studies
• Sales decks
• Reports or research
• Product documentation
• Product demos or videos
Try to keep the first message simple and only include attachments when they help move the conversation forward.
