AimFox grows your network by automating interactions on your LinkedIn account. It sends Connection Notes, InMails, and DMs to boost your reach and connect you with more users.

This is done with “Campaigns”. 👀

Campaigns tell AimFox who you want to target, and how you want to engage with them. They dictate what your Connection Notes should say, whether you should follow up with a DM, and other essential details about how you want to grow your Linkedin Network.

You can create your first campaign and start growing your LinkedIn network in less than 5 minutes. All you have to do is:

  • Choose a campaign type 🤖

  • Select the LinkedIn account to run the campaign 👔

  • Select your audience 🎯

  • Add Notes, Messages, and other communication 💬

  • Set your schedule 📆

  • Launch the campaign 🚀

The rest of this article will tell you more about each step of the campaign creation process and turn you into an Outreach expert.

Creating your first campaign

You can create your first campaign from the Campaigns section of your dashboard. Click the New Campaign + button and select what type of campaign you want to create.

Step 1: Campaign Type and Allowed Actions 🤖

A campaign’s Type decides what audience you will engage with and what types of actions it can perform. You can create an audience based on a LinkedIn People Search, Groups, Events, or even import a fully custom List of LinkedIn members if you have their profile links.

This step also dictates what actions your campaign is able to perform. Every campaign allows for one Primary action, and any number of Secondary actions, or Optimizations.

  • Primary actions include sending a Connection Request, or a Message Request.

  • Secondary actions let you maximize your campaign performance and LinkedIn interactions. These include sending Free InMails to open accounts and optimizing your connection request spend. We strongly recommend leaving these ON.

Campaign Settings screen shown below:

For this example, we will start with a LinkedIn people search, with all actions enabled.

Step 2: Set your Targeting 🎯

Targeting tells your campaign what audience it should engage with. Aimfox only engages with targeted users that you selected with your Targeting setup. A search campaign works exactly like LinkedIn’s People search. Simply search for relevant keywords and then filter your search by Location, Company, People they follow, and more. For this example, let’s search for US-based UI designers who worked at Apple.

Bonus step: Review Your Audience

Once you’re satisfied with your search, you can tell Aimfox to set this as your campaign targeting. It will then fetch all of your targets so you can review them, and even remove any people that are not a good fit.

Important: After a LinkedIn user has been added to a campaign, you will not be able to enroll them in other campaigns in the future. This is done to protect you from sending unwanted communication or spam to your targets from multiple campaigns.

Step 3: Set your campaign Flow 💬

Now you can set up the exact steps your campaign will take when engaging with your targets - this is called a Flow.

You can create up to two different Flows, to split test (or A / B test) your campaign and measure what approach will get you the best results.

Every campaign has one primary action, which can be either a Connection Request, or Message Request.

Connection Requests and Follow-Up messages

Sending a connection request is the most effective way to grow your LinkedIn network and establish new connections. The Search campaign automatically engages your targets with a connection request, which can also include a Note, or a short message, up to 250 characters long.

Important: Notes are only available to LinkedIn Premium users. Free LinkedIn accounts can only send 5 connection notes per month, and users are typically better of spending them manually for maximum conversions.

Once you’ve got a new Connection, it’s time to engage with them. Aimfox lets you set up a Sequence of Follow-up messages to chat with your new leads.

You can send an unlimited number of follow-up messages, and delay them as long as you want. We recommend stopping at two or three messages, and adding a small delay between each one to avoid spammy behavior. 👌

Follow-up messages automatically stop as soon as someone responds, to prevent you

from sending inappropriate or out of context messages to your leads.

Free InMails

Campaigns can further be optimized with Free InMails!

This outreach strategy lets you save your precious weekly connection requests by sending a Free InMail to any of your campaign recipients which have an open profile.

These users can be contacted via InMail, without spending any InMail credits, which makes this an excellent outreach option for everyone, especially free accounts. Keep in mind that a single target will be contacted either by a Free InMail, or a connection request, never both.

Make sure to turn on the InMail optimization whenever possible.

And voila! You have just set up a flow that will automatically connect you with targeted LinkedIn accounts, and start a conversation with them. 👏

AI Optimization and Auto-Translate:

Aimfox’ AI-Powered tag isn’t just for show. All campaign messages can be additionally personalized by our AI technology based on the target’s LinkedIn profile data. Enrich your templates and add extra variations to your messaging to increase conversions even further.

Auto-Translate lets you target users globally with each and every campaign. Aimfox can detect the target’s preferred LinkedIn account language, and automatically translate your campaign for maximum effectiveness. Messages can only be translated from English to any other language.

Don’t forget to preview your messages and see how AI and Translate will perform for your campaign.

Step 4: Set your Campaign schedule 📆

Campaigns follow a strict schedule and only work within the working hours you set for them. 🕐

You can select a specific timezone for your campaign, or you can allow Aimfox to dynamically detect your recipients timezone, and reach out to them when it’s most effective.

If you let Aimfox optimize the sending schedule, it will still follow the working hours you set, only in the recipient's timezone. ⏱️ So if you set a 9am-5pm schedule, your campaign will wait until it’s between 9am-5pm in your recipients timezone, and only reach out to them in those times.

Step 5: Review and Launch 🚀

Now is the chance to double check your templates, audience and everything else. If you’re satisfied, it’s time to launch! Simply click the start button and start growing your LinkedIn network on autopilot.

All that’s left now is to monitor your campaign and chat with all your leads. Don’t forget to label your new leads, leave notes for them and manage them in the Leads CRM and Inbox.

Welcome to Aimfox!
