Post Campaigns lets you create a campaign that targets and automatically engages with users who like, share, or comment on a LinkedIn post.

It is a powerful campaign type that allows you to select your targets based on niche interests and industry-relevant topics.

While every campaign only targets a single post, you can create unlimited campaigns to target multiple posts.

How to create a Post Campaign:

Step 1: Select the Campaign Type and Settings

Go to your Campaigns page and click the "New Campaign" button to open the campaign builder popup. Select Post campaign.

Configure Settings:

Like with other campaign types, you need to configure your Primary action, InMail optimization, and the number of targets you want to engage with.

Campaign Settings:

  • LinkedIn Connect: Decide whether to send a Connection Request to your targets (recommended).

  • InMail Optimization: Optimize your campaign by sending Free InMails to open profiles. This feature lets you overcome LinkedIn's weekly connection invite limit, and it never uses paid InMails (recommended).

  • Targets: Specify the maximum number of targets for your campaign. Aimfox supports up to 1,000 targets per campaign.

Once you are satisfied, click "Create campaign" to create a draft version of your campaign and move to the next step.

Step 2: Select the target Post

You can tell Aimfox which post you want to target by pasting a direct URL to the post into the search bar.

You can find the URL of any LinkedIn post by clicking the three dots at the top right corner of the post.

Once pasted, the post will appear on your campaign, with displayed engagement metrics.

You can choose to target users based on their engagement with the post, such as those who liked, commented on, or reposted the post. You can decide to select some, or all of these options.

At the bottom of the post, you'll find the total number of selected users that engaged with the post.

Once you've selected what types of engagers you want to target, “Next” to proceed.

You'll be directed to the Audience Preview page, as with all our campaigns. Here, you can review your targeted audience and make any necessary adjustments.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of your targets, simply click on the 'in' button to go to their LinkedIn profiles. This feature allows you to make informed decisions and refine your targeting as needed.

For detailed insights into the targets we've identified, simply click on the "Detailed view" button.

In the Detailed view, you'll find:

  1. The total number of identified targets.

  2. The count of targets eligible to receive InMails through InMail optimization.

  3. The number of targets already engaged in other campaigns, indicating they won't be available for this one.

  4. The number of blacklisted accounts

  5. The number of out-of-network accounts (those beyond your 3rd-degree LinkedIn connections)

To remove a specific target, simply select it and click the ‘Remove’ button. Do note that once a target is removed from a campaign, it cannot be re-added.

Once you’re satisfied with your targets, you can click on “Next” and continue making your campaign.

Step 3: Create your campaign Flow:

Your campaign Flow decides what types of actions Aimfox will perform in this campaign.

Post campaigns support one primary action - Connection Requests, which can be improved with a follow-up sequence and optimized with Free InMails.

Make sure to use InMails whenever possible to make the most of your weekly action limit on LinkedIn.

A connection request is the most common way of growing your LinkedIn network. With this flow, Aimfox will send a connection request to your campaign targets with an optional Note of up to 200 characters.

Since Free LinkedIn accounts are limited to only 5 Connection Notes per month, including a Note in your Campaign is only available for users with a LinkedIn Premium subscription.

Follow-up messages

Your connection request can be followed up with a sequence of direct messages, allowing you to immediately engage your new Leads and start a conversation.

This message sequence triggers when Aimfox detects that a user has accepted your connection request. You can delay every message, even the first one, allowing full customization.

Your sequence can include as many messages as you want, but we advise using no more than 2-3 to avoid spammy behavior and stay professional

Message sequences stop as soon you receive any response from that LinkedIn user.

This is done to prevent sending messages out of context.

Step 3.5: Additional Campaign Features

These extra steps improve campaign performance or allow you to gather more data. They are available on all campaign types.

AI Enhance

Our AI Enhance feature allows you to enrich your Notes, Message Requests, and Follow-Up Messages with AI to add some variety to your campaigns. AI Enhance will help you do the following:

  • Make your templates more professional

  • Normalize longer Variables like Occupations

  • Add variety to your campaigns

Normal Template

VS AI Enhanced Template

Don’t forget to preview your messages and see how AI and Translate will perform for your campaign. 👀

Auto Translate

Auto-Translate lets you target users globally with each campaign. Aimfox can detect the target’s preferred LinkedIn account language and automatically translate your campaign for maximum effectiveness. Messages can only be translated from English to other languages.

Split testing your Flows

If you're unsure which approach would work best for your audience, Aimfox allows you to create two separate Flows and test which one of them would work better.

After your campaign is created, you will be able to monitor which Flow is producing better results, and you can use that information to improve other campaigns.

Free InMails

You can optimize your campaign by using Free InMails. These are InMails you can send free of charge to Premium LinkedIn users with open profiles. This lets you save your weekly connection or message requests by replacing some of them with InMails. This step will never use your paid InMails, and as with previous steps, AI optimization and Translation are available.

Step 4: Campaign scheduling

In this campaign setup phase, users can specify the days and times when their campaign will be active. Moreover, users can send messages within a designated timezone or schedule them to be sent within the specified timeframe in the recipient's timezone by selecting the “Target’s Timezone” option.

Step 5: Finalize the campaign

Once you've completed all the steps and configured everything, you'll be presented with a preview screen where you can review all the details of the campaign you've created before launching it.

When you're satisfied with everything, simply start the campaign, and you'll be all set to go!

You can start the campaign immediately or save it as a draft to launch later.
