Campaign States

Aimfox campaigns can have several states, and a campaign can only ever be in one state. They are as follows:

  • Draft

  • Active

  • Paused

  • Completed

Draft campaigns - When you start creating a campaign, it begins in the Draft state. These campaigns are still under construction, and cannot be started until they are finalized.

Active campaigns - These campaigns are actively working and automating your LinkedIn interactions.

Paused campaigns - These campaigns are on standby. You can resume your paused campaigns at any time. Campaigns can become paused if you manually pause them, or if your LinkedIn Outreach subscription expires.

Completed campaigns- These campaigns are complete. They have engaged with all of the targets, and will no longer perform any actions. You can review them at any time.

Pausing a Campaign

While using Aimfox, you can pause and resume your campaigns at your convenience, directly from the campaign detailed view.

When you pause a campaign, all communication to your targets, including sequences, will immediately stop.

Pausing a campaign that has been active for some time provides the opportunity to double-check the analytics without any pressure and fine-tune it for better engagement and acceptance rates.

Resuming a Campaign

When you resume a campaign, Aimfox will automatically continue where it left off. This takes effect immediately, unless your account is disconnected, or needs to warm up.

If your campaign was paused for an extended period of time, you may find numerous direct messages from your sequences queued up, as all the wait times have expired. Make sure to double check your settings if you leave a campaign paused for a while.

Please note that this only affects messages that were waiting to be sent out at the time the campaign was paused. Any future messages will not be affected.

Example of a resumed sequence:

  • You have a sequence of two messages:

    • Message 1 is sent out 7 days after connecting

    • Message 2 is sent out 2 days after message 1.

  • You pause the campaign when Message 1 has been waiting for 2 days.

  • You unpause the campaign after two weeks.

    • This causes Message 1 to be immediately sent out, since it has been waiting for 2 days + 14 days it was paused.

    • Message 2 will not be sent out, since it will follow the schedule and wait until 2 days have passed after message 1 is sent.

Resuming Campaigns and Interaction Limits

When you resume a campaign or multiple campaigns, Aimfox ensures that it does not exceed the usual limits for sending connection requests on LinkedIn. You can safely resume any number of campaigns, and you will not break any limits.
