How to automatically follow up with your Campaign targets

Follow-up messages are staple feature of all types of Aimfox campaigns.

They allow you to send a series of LinkedIn messages to your leads after they accept your connection request, or to follow up after a group or event message request.

Follow-up message sequences are automatically interrupted as soon as your target replies to a message. This ensures communication stays natural and genuine, without any awkward out of context responses. Their main goal is to get you chatting with your leads, not just automate your conversations.

Follow-up messages will automatically show up as an option in the "Build your Flow" step during campaign creation. They are available as a follow-up step in every campaign that includes a Connection or Message Request. This includes your Inbound and Outbound campaigns:

  • LinkedIn Search Campaign

  • Group Members Campaign

  • Event Attendees Campaign

  • Custom List Campaign

  • Post Engagers Campaign

  • Sales Navigator Campaign

  • Lead Search Campaign

IMPORTANT: InMails cannot be followed up with a message sequence.

When sending an InMail, you are not allowed to follow up with additional messages. This means the only thing your lead can do - is respond. Because of this, it would be too easy to send an out-of context message.

How to set-up a Follow-up Message

During campaign setup, you will have the option to add a follow-up message sequence.

You can add a delay to every message to ensure the communication stays natural and to ensure better conversion rates. To set up delays, navigate to the follow-up message step in your Aimfox campaign workflow. Above this step, configure the delay fields by specifying the number of days and hours that align with your campaign goals, and then save your changes.

The first message is delayed after the target accepts your connection request, and every following message based on the previously sent message. For sales-focused sequences, a recommended delay of 1–2 days between messages can help maintain engagement without overwhelming the recipient.

This flexibility enables you to tailor your follow-up communication to best suit your campaign objectives and target audience.

How to Configure Delays in Aimfox Campaigns

  • Access Your Campaign Workflow: Open the Aimfox application and select the desired campaign.

  • Add or Edit a Follow-Up Step: Locate the specific follow-up message or add a new step as needed.

  • Configure Delay Settings: Adjust the number of days and hours using the tools provided.

  • Save Changes: Save your configuration to ensure the settings are applied. By testing different intervals and leveraging analytics, you can refine the delay settings over time to optimize audience engagement.

Voice Messages and Attachments

Follow-up message templates can also include voice recordings and file attachments to make your outreach more engaging and personal.

Voice recordings allow you to send a short audio message alongside your text message, helping you add a more natural and human touch to your communication.

Attachments allow you to include supporting materials directly in your follow-up messages, such as product brochures, case studies, presentations, or helpful documents.

Both voice recordings and attachments can be added while creating or editing your message templates, and they will automatically be included when the follow-up message is sent as part of the sequence.

Additional Features:

You can fully utilize Auto-Translate and AI Variables features when creating your follow-up message templates. These features empower you to communicate effectively with targets in their preferred language and maximize message personalisation

Restrictions:

  • Follow-up messages are stopped as soon as your target replies

  • You can add a maximum of 10 follow-up messages

  • Follow-up messages cannot be sent after an InMail
