What is a split test?

A split test, or commonly known as an A/B test is a way to split your campaign interactions into two different flows in order to gather important data and see which one performs better.

You can set up a split test for any campaign which uses Connection Request and Message Request flows. Split Tests cannot be used with InMails.

They can cover different aspects such as wording, message frequency, or even measure performance between translated and non-translated messages.

How to create a Split Test

You can create a split test during the "Campaign Flows" step when building any campaign that uses Connection or Message Requests.

You can duplicate your current flow or create another one from scratch.

Adding a Split Test splits your audience into two equal parts. A campaign with a maximum number of 1000 targets will have two flows with 500 targets each.

Once they're created, you can also rename the flows for better tracking.

Additional Split Test Information

It's advisable to allow some time before comparing results to ensure accurate data collection.

Unlike Email marketing software or certain other platforms that automatically designate a "winner" and direct all communication to that flow, Aimfox split tests primarily function as additional analytics tools and currently do not provide such functionality.
