How to set up your multi-channel outreach pipeline

Overview

The Aimfox × EmailBison integration enables seamless multi-channel outreach by combining LinkedIn automation with email campaigns.

With this two-way sync, you can:

  • Connect Aimfox with EmailBison to: Create Aimfox campaigns from your EmailBison campaign leads.

  • Connect EmailBison with Aimfox to: Send Aimfox leads directly into your EmailBison campaigns.

The integration has functionality both in your Aimfox workspace and your EmailBison account. That is why this guide will be divided into two sections:

  1. Connecting Aimfox with EmailBison, and

  2. Connecting EmailBison with Aimfox

While this may sound like a lot, the entire process takes about 5 minutes, and only a couple of clicks.

Part 1: Integrating Aimfox with EmailBison

Aimfox' integration with EmailBison gives you extra functionality in your Campaigns and Leads pages.


​Campaigns: Create Aimfox campaigns using your EmailBison campaign leads - enabling you to follow up with your email-engaged leads on LinkedIn and get more value from your EmailBison data.

Leads: Export Aimfox leads directly into your EmailBison campaigns. This enables you to follow up with LinkedIn-engaged prospects through email outreach.

How to connect your Aimfox workspace with EmailBison

Linking your Aimfox workspace with your EmailBison account enables you to get your Campaign and Lead data directly in Aimfox.

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab in your Aimfox workspace settings.

  2. Find the EmailBison integration section and click on the Connect button.

  3. Paste your EmailBison API key.

    1. You can generate an API key in your EmailBison account under Settings → Developer API → New API Token.

  4. Click Connect.

  5. And you're done!

Once your Aimfox and EmailBison workspaces are connected, you can create EmailBison campaigns in the Campaigns page.

Only one EmailBison account can be linked to your Aimfox workspace at a time.

To link a different EmailBison account, you must first disconnect the currently connected account. You can disconnect your workspaces by clicking the settings option for your integration.

How to set up an EmailBison campaign

  1. Go to your Campaigns page.

  2. Click the Create campaign button.

  3. Choose the CRM campaign type.

  4. Set up your campaign settings including the running account, InMail Optimization, etc.

  5. Next, choose EmailBison as the platform.

  6. Choose the EmailBison campaign you wish to use as your campaign source.

  7. Provide the custom variable that contains the LinkedIn profile URL for each lead.

    1. For example: linkedin_url

  8. Aimfox will automatically fetch the EmailBison campaign leads and get all targets with valid LinkedIn URLs.

  9. Follow the rest of the campaign flow

For EmailBison campaign leads to be imported into Aimfox, they must have a custom variable containing their LinkedIn profile URL.

Make sure this variable is populated in EmailBison before creating your Aimfox campaign.

How to export Aimfox leads to EmailBison

To send Aimfox leads to EmailBison and enable multi-channel outreach, follow these steps:

  1. In your Aimfox workspace, navigate to the Leads section.

  2. Use the available filters to narrow down the leads you want to export.

    1. You can filter by campaign, label, location, company, interest, and other available lead properties.

  3. Click the Export dropdown.

  4. Select EmailBison as the destination.

  5. Choose the EmailBison campaign where you want to send the leads.

  6. Confirm the export.

There's a few things to note:

  • Once confirmed, Aimfox will upload the filtered leads to the selected EmailBison campaign.

  • Aimfox will automatically create a linkedin_url custom variable in your EmailBison account if one does not already exist.

  • When exporting leads, Aimfox will include each lead’s email, name, company, and LinkedIn URL.

  • Leads without a valid email address will be skipped.

How exported leads are handled in EmailBison

Aimfox uses an upsert operation when exporting leads to EmailBison. This means that if a lead already exists in EmailBison, matched by email address, their data will be updated rather than duplicated. You can export up to 10,000 leads at a time.

Once the export is complete, you can continue your email outreach from EmailBison using the selected campaign.

Part 2: Integrating EmailBison with Aimfox.

EmailBison's integration with Aimfox lets you set up multi-channel campaigns by sending your EmailBison leads to Aimfox campaigns.

To set up the integration:

  1. Go to your EmailBison dashboard

  2. Go to Integrations -> Aimfox

  3. Paste your Aimfox API token

  4. Set up your Default Mappings

    1. Choose a default Aimfox campaign

    2. Choose the default custom variable you use for LinkedIn URLs

  5. Save your default settings

The integration lets you send leads to Aimfox campaigns, either manually, or automatically. EmailBison campaigns send unresponsive leads, while manual sending gives you full control.

You can send leads to Aimfox:

  1. Automatically via EmailBison campaigns.

    1. Set this up in Campaign -> Settings -> Integration settings ->Integrate with Aimfox.

  2. Manually via EmailBison's Leads page.

  3. Manually via EmailBison's Inbox.

Frequently Asked Questions

What API key permissions does Aimfox need?

Aimfox only requires a standard EmailBison API key. No special scopes are needed beyond access to campaigns, leads, and custom variables.

What happens if a lead doesn't have a LinkedIn URL?

Leads without a LinkedIn URL custom variable are skipped during import from EmailBison into Aimfox. During export from Aimfox to EmailBison, the LinkedIn profile URL is automatically included as a custom variable.

Can I use the same EmailBison campaign for both import and export?

Yes. You can export Aimfox leads into a campaign and also use that same campaign as the source for a new Aimfox LinkedIn campaign.

How many leads can be imported at once?

Aimfox fetches all pages of leads from your EmailBison campaign and imports up to 10,000 leads per campaign.
