What is Conversation visibility?
Conversation visibility is a workspace setting that controls which LinkedIn conversations appear in your Aimfox Inbox,so you can keep personal LinkedIn messages out of a shared workspace.
It has two options:
All conversations: the Inbox shows every conversation from the LinkedIn accounts connected to the workspace, including conversations started outside Aimfox. This is the default.
Campaign conversations only: the Inbox shows only conversations started from Aimfox campaigns. Conversations started directly on LinkedIn are hidden.
Use Campaign conversations only when the LinkedIn accounts in a workspace are also used for personal messaging and you don’t want those conversations visible to everyone in the workspace.
Note: Only the workspace owner can change Conversation visibility, and Conversation visibility overrides member-level Inbox privacy permissions.
When a workspace is set to Campaign conversations only, conversations started outside Aimfox are hidden for every member, whatever their individual Inbox privacy permission.
When it’s set to All conversations, each member’s Inbox privacy permission applies as usual.
Switching to Campaign conversations only is permanent as a privacy measure. Once you switch, you can’t change the workspace back to All conversations.
How to set Conversation visibility when creating a workspace
Open the workspace menu and click Create workspace.
Enter a name in the Workspace name field.
Under Conversation visibility, select All conversations or Campaign conversations only.
Click Create.
If you select Campaign conversations only, the setting is permanent from the moment the workspace is created.
How to switch an existing workspace to campaign conversations only
Go to Workspace settings → General.
Under Conversation visibility, open the dropdown and select Campaign conversations only.
Review the confirmation message, then click Show campaign only.
After you confirm, the dropdown is locked and shows a lock icon.
What happens when you switch
Conversations started from Aimfox campaigns stay in the Inbox.
Conversations started outside Aimfox are hidden in the Inbox for everyone in the workspace, including the owner.
Hidden conversations aren’t deleted. You can still find them on LinkedIn.
Each member’s Inbox privacy permission no longer affects what they see. The workspace setting applies to everyone.
